Armageddon at Midnight

A Post-Halloween Party

"Don't throw away those costumes yet!"

In an effort to establish itself better amongst the campus community, CABAL felt it only appropriate to hold a costume dance party.

Featuring the music of such soundtracks asSpawn and X-Files: Songs in the Key of X, the party began with dancing to the featured movie Army of Darkness..

Following that, attendees sat down to watch the movie without music playing to it.

Approaching midnight, however, REM's "It's the End of the World as We Know It" began to play in the background.

At 12 am, all came to an end-- no more movie or music or anything with power.

The attendees humorously continued the REM lyrics when all the power went out, singing, "and I feel fine."

After that, thematically relevant prizes were given out in a game of Q & A.

The winners of the trivia questions that had been set up at the admissions table were also announced.

Then everyone finished the movie.

Wanting costumes to be a major aspect of the event, CABAL held a costume contest.

Bill Benoit & Meredith Peruzzi were crowned Poltergeist King & Queen Halloween by Barb Horneff.
