Recruiters are now using a method called Behavioral Based Interviewing (BBI). It allows you to demonstrate your strengths rather then just talking about them.  Monster provides more information.

BBI zeros in on transferable or functional skills as opposed to technical skills. This really works in your favor if you do not have relevant work experience.  Find out what some skills employers are looking for.

Be aware of legal and illegal job interview questions.  Only questions dealing with the actual requirements of the job may be asked. For more information, check out JobWeb.
