Volunteer Opportunities

WHAT IS ALL THE HYPE ABOUT?
HYPE (Harnessing Youth's Positive Energy), a community service task force sponsored by Career Services, is a group comprised of service leaders across the campus who coordinate service events and annual awards to promote the spirit of service at McDaniel College.

HYPE members meet weekly and have monthly community service meetings where representatives from other student organizations have the opportunity to network.  All meetings are open to any college student.

Below are some of the events and services they coordinate.
Send Career Services an email if you/your group would like to assist with any annual events or attend our meetings.

HOW TO GET CONNECTED:
As a member of the Community Service eMailing List, you will receive messages and announcements relating to community service at McDaniel College.  A listserv is essentially a group of people who correspond via email.  You can post a question, event, request, etc.  and allow others to respond.  You can also "listen" in on discussions without participating.  An excellent way to stay posted with the latest news and events.

For more information or to subscribe to the emailing list, please contact Career Services.  In the body of the message (NOT the subject line), type "subscribe volunteer your email
address".
