NATIONAL COOL CONFERENCE GRANT
In order to develop student leaders for community service initiatives at McDaniel
College, Career Services and College Activities has awarded conference grants
for students to attend the annual C.O.O.L.
Idealist National Conference, usually
around Spring Break. This conference is the largest convening in the country
of campus community members involved in service, activism, politics, and socially
responsible work. Visit the web site and email Career
Services for more information,
an application, or to nominate a student.

You may request a Money Request to help with a volunteer and community service projects by contacting Career Services.
COMMUNITY SERVICE ROCKS!
Drop pictures of students doing community service to Career Services (Smith House) and we will reproduce them into a video scrap book by the end of Spring semester. Be sure to include your name, the name of your group, email, phone, and a description and date of the service you provided. Your pictures will be returned and the video will be available to everyone!
ANNUAL COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARDS BANQUET
At the end of Spring Semester, there will be a Community Service Awards Banquet honoring the accomplishments of INDIVIDUALS and GROUPS by giving significant and possibly CASH awards. Look for promos in your mailbox by March or contact Career Services for more information, an application or for nominating procedures.
