SELF ASSESSMENT:

Completing a self-assessment will help you identify your skills, values and interests.  This is very important in career planning because it will assist you in identifying occupations that you may enjoy.  Quintessential Careers' provides a list of online career assessments and rates them.

Career Services also offers the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator; you must call or office at X3305 to make an appointment.

EntryLevelPR is run entirely by volunteers, posts entry-level (0-2 years experience) and internship positions in public relations, communications and marketing.

The Public Relations Society of Maryland was Formed in 1961, the Maryland Chapter of the PRSA serves to bring together public relations professionals in the Central Maryland area. This website has job listings, events, training and other helpful information.

The Association of Fundraising, MD chapter is another great resource. They are a leading advocate on fundraising and philanthropic issues in our community and the professional organization of choice for fundraising professionals.

The American Marketing Association: DC is the third largest chapter in the nation, serving over 750 marketing professionals in 60 organizations in the Washington DC area.
